Got my first tattoo yesterday & we talk about that. Getting ready for this wedding & gauging how much leeway this bride will get. Football season is creeping...

In light of this weekend’s events I lament on the hopeless feeling knowing that nothing will be done to prevent the next one. In a conversation where political jockeying wins out over solutions it seems we are being forced to accept these things are part of our American life from now until forever.

Ending the week with a classic nothing to talk about show where we ramble on about oldies music & wondering why the world could never recapture the feeling of 69’. Thoughts on the culture, on turning points and where we are now. Plus some road rage & an appreciation of driving a bigger vehicle.

a little GoldenEye retrospective to start the show as I marvel at what some people do in their free time. Then we accidentally slip into a serious thought on life & what living truly is before making the smoothest of transitions into the MLB trade deadline and Brian Cashman’s reluctance to build a playoff starting rotation.

Trying to get some control of my brain. A few complaints about being an adult & then cursing people out who complain about being an adult. Le’Veon Bell’s apology is a win for fantasy nerds. New age statistics are taking over and you all look like idiots trying to inject them into the vernacular.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...reaction. Tarantino goes back to the 60s...Margot Robbie’s touching performance as Sharon Tate....Leonardo DiCaprio as the wanna be leading man...Brad Pitt chases the rush.

Oof a rough show, indeed. We’ll call it a C-....A lunch story - crossing a restaurant off the list. I get something in my eye...I check my email....then a little bit on Tarantino as we look forward to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood...and maneuver through traffic...and some rambling final thoughts on Martin Scorsese.
