We've made it to 100 Episodes! Thank you to everyone who's been listening to us since February 2016! We talk about some of our favorite films, interviews & memories of the past two years, including talking to Sean Baker about "The Florida Project" and making our tribute video to Isabelle Huppert.
Our key film this week is the utterly fascinating documentary/thriller "Fake Blood" about two Canadian horror filmmakers exploring the connection between movie violence & real world violence, directed by Rob Grant. (36:50)
We also review unique & experimental documentary "24 Frames," the final film of Iran's master filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami (15:35), and the compelling period drama "Bomb City" about the murder of a Punk in 1990's Texas, directed by Jameson Brooks (24:30).
