About a year ago, I completed Operation: Wolverine Walk. Which was a 1,200-mile thru-hike across the entire state of Michigan to raise money for American Veterans Archaeological Recovery (AVAR). A non-profit that is on a mission to promote the well-being of US Veterans through field archaeology. By the end of the trek, I raised over $10,000 for them, as well as learned some valuable life lessons. In this episode of The All-Around Adventure Podcast, I reflect on the endeavor and discuss three key takeaways from it.
