You want to be #ForClarksville, but honestly, it feels like life is #ForKickingYourButt. Like the old saying goes you’ve been life on, cheated, talked about, and mistreated. Have you been there? Are you there? If so, then you know better than anyone that life doesn’t resolve nicely like a courtroom drama.

Have you ever asked - "Why is this happening to me?", "How could they do this to me?", "I can't believe the lies that are being told about me?" If you live your life as a fully devoted follower of Christ, it can almost be guaranteed that you will utter one of those statements in your lifetime.

Have you ever found yourself punched in the face by life? Has your faith ever been kicked so hard that you didn’t think you could make it? What if it was possible to develop some spiritual toughness. What if you could walk with Jesus in such a way that you actually develop the resilience to bounce back from spiritual beatdowns?

To be arrested is to be seized, to be stopped right in your tracks, to be bound up by someone or something stronger. There is something that should seize us, stop us in our tracks, and wrap us up. It’s the cause of Christ that fuels our love, our service, and our quest for justice. Being arrested for self will always lead to failure.
