This week we spend some time acknowledging that just like us, you and your kids may be experiencing a range of frustrations and emotions as the weeks are wearing on.  We revisit “working the Circle” as a way to identify and deal with your current ups and downs.  And… how this might be a moment for all of us to realize that God is at work to draw us closer to Him.

Join us this week as we reflect on how we can help our kids to trust in the redeeming work of the Crucifixion, the Risen Christ, and some beautiful ways God has woven reminders of His redemption into creation.

Esther, Mordecai, the Jews of Esther’s day, Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey, and wait for it…The Beverly Hillbillies.  Is there a common thread here to be found?  Well, this week, those stories give us insight into how we can talk to our kids about who Christ is FOR US and now who we are IN HIM.

We recorded our first podcast on Zoom!  Like you, we are all adjusting to this strange new norm, and if ever there was a time for faith conversations at home… we think it is now. This week we talk about how to do just that, and what construct to put on life when all we know and have planned for is suddenly uprooted and changes… sound familiar?

This past Sunday an unprecedented number of people tried to LIVEstream worship from home with their churches.  Under such an overload, many streaming platforms (including ours) couldn’t handle the traffic all morning, which caused some folks to not be able to watch during their normal service time.  The great news is that we are working hard to have things up and running again this week!  Listen in as we reflect on the great things we saw and heard happening from Sunday’s online experience as well as how you can stay plugged in, updated, and connected in the weeks to come!

The world as we know it does not look like it did one week ago, as words like "social distancing" and "quarantine" are becoming our shared reality.  Join us as we talk about how we can leverage this very unexpected life slow down to continue, strengthen and grow our faith conversations at home. 

This week we talk about how having faith conversations can be kinda like training for a marathon… a marathon of faithfulness to this incredible gift and responsibility God has given us to disciple our kids.  It was ALSO the perfect week to introduce Tim Koehler, our new Director of Care, considering he recently ran his first marathon!
