  • Increasing my income as a marketing freelancer and content creator in 2023
This is one of the more.. insecure episodes I have done. Why? I talk a lot about what I plan on doing as opposed to what I have already done which is out of my comfort zone. I talk about how I am currently earning money, the gaps in this strategy and what is holding me back. If you work for yourself, are a content creator or want to start your own business I hope this contributes to your insight and ideas. Always keen to hear your thoughts.

  • From Afghanistan to New Zealand: The journey of an Asylum Seeker
Today we get to speak with Abbas Nazari - Abbas has an extremely powerful story. He recently wrote a book called “After the Tampa". It's a memoir of his experience fleeing Afghanistan to seek asylum in Australia, eventually NZ, with over 400 other people including his entire family. An experience that was anything but easy.

This story and Abbas's perspectives were discussed on the episode carrying themes of empathy, strength, courage, resilience, heartache, and hope to name only a few. It was one of my favourite conversations to date - I hope you enjoy it too. Please support Abbas and Farid below (books and other things mentioned are all linked).
