All it takes is a birthday or a tragedy to remind us that life is short. We try to make the most of life by saying yes to a wide array of activites, experiences, and people, because part of us believes that a full life means a full calendar. Yet, isn’t there a point, where the more things we add to our lives, the more we diminish our quality of life? In our pursuit of a more meaningful life, are we actually emptying life of it’s richness and beauty?
