Only The Word

7/13/20 - The elect receive a complete and eternal salvation in Christ Jesus, but remain in the flesh to live out the remainder of their days. The work of sanctification begins at salvation and continues until the believer is perfected in the presence of Christ. It is sanctification, the bringing of the flesh into subjection of the new creature on the inside, that exhorts the elect to strive by the Grace of God within them to be more like Christ in this life.

7/13/20 - Naomi begins her journey with her two daughters in law, returning to Bethlehem from Moab. Orpah cannot leave everything behind, but Ruth forsakes all to go with Naomi.

7/6/20 - Beginning a verse by verse study of the book of Ruth, here we look at chapter 1 verses 1 through 6. Elimelech and his family leave Bethlehem for Moab, there he and his sons die, and Naomi receives word that God has visited His people.

We are no longer meeting at the church on Monday nights for Bible Study. Lord willing we will continue to record them from our house and have them posted on Monday. We hope, through the Word of God and His Spirit we can be a help to you all. Thank you for your prayers.

7/5/20 - God, who chose His elect from before the foundation of the world and saved them by His grace, will not fail to keep them from the time they are redeemed until they die. Not one of those in Christ will lose their inheritance.

6/22/20 - Bible Study. God has made those in Christ new creatures that they might be ambassadors for Him in this world.

6/21/20 - Can God be charged as unjust or unfair by man because of God's sovereign election?

6/15/20 - God not only pardons the sins of His elect, but also transforms them inwardly by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit.

6/14/20 - Whom does the effectual call of God reach?

6/8/20 - God caused Paul, and will cause all of the elect, to serve and accomplish His will for them.

6/7/20 - Digging deeper into the effectual call of God to the elect, and the general call to all the world.
