    Our show started with the big news of the week, which was the return of the Window Insider Bug Bash. Things then shifted over and we talked about some sessions for Build 2021. Then, we took a big turn and went on to talk about 20 years of Xbox. Kareem then ended our main segment with a look at some of the Epic Games v. Apple stuff as it relates to Microsoft.
    As is the special here on OnPodcast, we also had both the Fast Recap Segment as well as the Week Ahead Segment. In Fast recap, we sped through some Microsoft topics for the week. In Week Ahead, we looked ahead to 31 years of Solitaire, more JEDI news, as well as some updates to Teams.

  • OnPodcast Episode 33: Windows 10X canned, Sun Valley icons in Windows 10, Bill Gates breakup
    For our latest episode this week, we went all-in on the week's big Microsoft news. We recapped the sad news about Windows 10X being canned, looked at other topics such as Sun Valley icons in a Windows 10 Insider build, and more.
    Our show started with the motherload of the news, which is Windows 10X being canceled. We then shifted over to talk about Windows 10 Sun Valley, and some new system icons that were hidden away and spotted deep in the system. Things then shifted to look at Bill Gates' divorce, which made headlines this week across the world.
    Since we had good feedback last week, we also brought back our new "Fast Recap" segment. With this segment, we sped through some of the week's other (minor) stories in a short 8 minutes. That included a new font in a Windows Insider build, Sony's investment in Discord, Edge Beta coming to iOS, and other Xbox rumors about Game Pass on other consoles.
    To end, there was our usual Week Ahead Segment. For this segment, Arif and Kareem looked at some upcoming reviews planned at OnMSFT. That includes a Dell Curved gaming monitor, as well as the Surface Laptop 4.

We'll then look at Microsoft's rollout of the Windows 10 May 2021 Update, and shift over to recap Microsoft's earnings call.     We had a lot to talk about once more. We started with a look at the new icons in the Windows 10 File Explorer. We then moved on to talk about rumors of Microsoft buying Discord. Finally, we ended with a look at the new Xbox Network branding, as well as some news about Xbox Live.

    For our 25th episode this week, we had a lot to talk about. We started the show with a look at some rumors about a possible spring Surface event in April. We then looked at the news of Bethesda joining Microsoft and took a turn back to Windows to look at more rumors about Build 2021.
    The OnPodcast crew then switched gears to talk about ChromeOS. Arif and Kareem looked at Google's operating system, compared it to Windows 10, and offered their thoughts on how far Google has come with the OS. There was a lively discussion about what makes Chrome OS great, and what makes Windows great, and how the two compare and contrast.
    In the Week Ahead, meanwhile, Arif and Kareem teased an upcoming giveaway. They also looked at some things planned for the editorial side at OnMSFT this week, including the review of an Aukey USB-C hub, Yubico's YubiKeys, and a special interview we have planned with Yubico's Chief Solutions Offer, Jerrod Chong.
