The Cody Musical Theatre Company is a local amateur theatre group serving the community for over a century.
Neil discussed the company's history with Devin, including some of their past shows. Cody provides quality entertainment at a fraction of the cost of the London West End. They have been privileged to have received several awards from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) to which they are affiliated.
Cody holds rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the year and performs two major musical productions annually. The rehearsals occur at Velmead Junior School, located on Velmead Road in Fleet.
All productions are performed at the Princes Hall in Aldershot, typically in late March and September.

Today, we are speaking with Tilly from Cats, a local amateur dramatics group that has been bringing live theatre to Crowthorne since 1978, that's 50 years.
We learn that Cats stand for Crowthorne Amateur Theatrical Society, also known as CATS.
They have produced a variety of plays over the years, including "The Odd Couple," "The Vicar of Dibley," "Pizza, Passion and Pasta," and "The Rum Murder."
The Crowthorne Amateur Theatrical Society welcomes individuals of all ages, not just young people. The age range of members varies from small to older individuals.

With over 26 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Jimmy has become known for his authentic portrayal of Sir Elton John.
He has been recognized as one of the best impersonators in the world, with a respected reputation as a vocalist since 1993.
For a decade, he was a cast member in the Legends multi-tribute show in Blackpool, using his time there to perfect his impersonation of Sir Elton.

We caught up with James, in Fleet and what a gentlemen and great laugh, and his love of the 80s and what it was like being a big kid.
Comedian, writer and actor James Alderson is a familiar face at comedy clubs throughout the UK, performing regularly for large comedy chains and independent clubs around the country, as well as a variety of universities, charities, sports dinners, military shows and corporate events. James has also performed around the world in various venues including most recently New York, Switzerland, Cyprus, Turkey, Ibiza, Crete and Egypt.
James writes regular magazine and newspaper columns and is also an experienced comic actor, having been seen on-screen in many TV adverts, and most recently starring in Sky's "Scared of Santa", and in Channel 4's prank show called "Eye Spy"!
