Step into an ethereal soundscape with Dawn Chorus, a hauntingly beautiful rework by Onur Dertli of Thom Yorke’s original piece. This rendition remains true to the melancholic core of Yorke’s composition, offering a deeply emotional journey that invites listeners to drift through layers of sound and feeling.

Blending ambient textures with rich electronica and downtempo elements, Onur Dertli carefully reimagines Dawn Chorus in a way that resonates on a personal and immersive level. Hypnotic synth melodies interweave with fluid, subtle rhythms, crafting a dreamy atmosphere that pulls you into a contemplative state. The slower BPM range, around 70-90, creates a meditative, almost cinematic pace, perfect for introspective moments or simply losing yourself in the music.

As each note unfolds, you can feel the emotions of depth, calm, and reflection resonate, inviting you to explore the quieter, more intimate corners of your mind. This rework is not just a song but an experience – one that transcends time, carrying you through a sound journey that is both nostalgic and fresh.

This remix of London Grammar’s haunting track “Wasting My Young Years” blends the ethereal vocal elements of the original with deep, atmospheric synths and driving bass lines. Inspired by the intricate layering and progressive build-ups characteristic of Ben Böhmer, the remix evolves through expansive soundscapes and melodic transitions, creating a dynamic emotional journey. By infusing subtle, rhythmic drops and instrumental breaks, this remix adds a fresh yet introspective pulse to the delicate melancholy of the original song. The track keeps the heart of the original while amplifying its energy for an immersive, cinematic experience on the dance floor.

Lycris:

I'm drifting in the silence

Trying to reach your light

Breathing in the stillness

Searching through the night

Through the night

Through the night

Through the night

I’m breathing, but you’re far

Fading echoes, like a star

Reaching out, but you’re too far

You're too far

You're too far

You're too far

Breathing underwater, lost inside

Reaching for a memory that won't collide

Breathing underwater, lost inside

Once I tried, once I tried

Once I tried, once I tried

I tried

Once

I tried

I hear your voice in shadows

Whispers in the air

Chasing after moments

Falling through the tear

Through the tear

Through the tear

Through the tear

I’m breathing, but you’re far

Fading echoes, like a star

Reaching out, but you’re too far

You're too far

You're too far

too far

Breathing underwater, lost inside

Reaching for a memory that won't collide

Breathing underwater, lost inside

Once I tried, once I tried

Once I tried,

Once I tried,

Once

I tried,

Once I tried

Once I tried

Once I tried

Once I tried
