'Onwards and upwards': Father of the 2032 Games happy with the Premier's plan
After the infrastructure plans for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games were revealed, the 'father' of the idea shared his thoughts.
Former Lord Mayor Graham Quirk told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons, "These are things that we need as Queenslanders."
"They're investments in our future."
"So whether people want an Olympics or not, it will benefit everybody at the end of the day," Mr Quirk continued.
