"Children Are Scary" - In our review of Looper, we wonder if they went too far with the makeup used to make Joseph Gordon-Levitt look like Bruce Willis, praise the connection between the older characters and their younger counterparts and disagree on the quality of the movie’s production design. Also: Neal does the unthinkable and praises a child actor, while Steve lets the world know how he really feels about Bruce Willis and director Rian Johnson.

"I Am The Law" - In our review of Dredd, we disagree on how effective the action and the humor was, while discussing how it’s as much Olivia Thirlby’s movie as it is Karl Urban’s.

"K Fried C" - We kick this episode off by fulfilling a listener’s request and reviewing Drive, where we praise Ryan Gosling’s performance, the music and the shocking moments of violence. Joe just can’t get over all the 80s nostalgia. In our main review of Killer Joe, we loved Matthew McConaughey and Thomas Haden Church’s performances, but were split on Emile Hirsch. Also, we agree that Juno Temple doesn’t look like a 12-year-old and delve into spoilers to discuss the film’s crazy climax.

“Weekend at Bernie's” - In our review of Bernie, we talk about how the movie’s titular character is unlike any Jack Black’s ever played and discuss director Richard Linklater’s choice to make both a conventional movie and a faux documentary. Also: We activate Bingsley 2.0 and respond to fan mail.

“Fuscles” - Special guest Mike Colangelo from 3 Killabytes joins us to discuss Lawless. In our review, we talk about Shia LaBeouf’s career, disagree on whether or not Guy Pearce was effective as the villain, lament that Gary Oldman wasn’t in the movie more, and praise all the period detail.

"Forgot My Bullets" - We’re the three people who went and saw Premium Rush. In our review, we praise the fun performances of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Shannon, chat about the movie’s nonlinear story and stylistic flourishes, and have an episode-long debate about whether or not the movie feels like it was made 10 years ago. Naturally, all of this culminates in one of us scoring it a point shy of perfection.

"Zombies Ate My Neighbors" - In our review of ParaNorman, we applaud John Goodman’s unhinged voice work, debate whether or not the humor ever gets inappropriate, praise the movie’s unique look, and wish the middle of the movie would’ve been as strong as the beginning and the end.

"Flat" - In our review of The Bourne Legacy, we discuss the trajectory of Jeremy Renner’s career, disagree on how effective Edward Norton’s performance was, and talk about how this Bourne movie stacks up against the previous ones.

"Incepted" - Colin Farrell’s character wishes for a better life in Total Recall; when we walked out of the theater, we just wish we had seen a better movie. In our review, we gush about the production design, but criticize just about everything else, especially the movie’s lack of ambiguity and world-building.

"Abraham Lincoln" - Rampart is about Woody Harrelson’s character – a corrupt cop with an aversion to people not finishing their French Fries – and little else. Is it enough? We debate that and more as we take a look back at this early 2012 gem.
