Oregon’s 6th Congressional District is its newest after the 2020 Census. The district contains all of Polk and Yamhill counties, as well as pieces of Marion, Washington and Clackamas counties.

The campaign is taking place in a freshly redrawn district, which stretches from Clackamas County all the way to Bend and Albany, covering many conservative and liberal strongholds in Oregon.

After the election in November, Southwest Washington will have its first new representative in Congress in more than a decade. And who wins that election will say a lot about the voters’ priorities in the 3rd Congressional District.
