Isn’t it hard sometimes to wait? Most of us are not good at waiting; frankly we are mostly an impatient generation. The Bible says we are “…to wait for his Son from heaven…” But are we supposed to just stare into the sky while life passes us by? Not at all! We are to be busy working, while we wait.

Idols eat us up. They are everywhere and want all of us, every part of us. Idols are not satisfied with part of us but want to consume us completely! God wants us to give ourselves to him and to none other. God does not want to be one among many but our one and only.

As we fight for the King to extend His Kingdom, we must devote ourselves to godly living and godly speech. Let us learn to use our time, talent and treasure to build God’s kingdom.

God is faithful. In our past, present and in our future! Paul’s describes the relationship of the church in Thessalonica enjoys with God and others. As he does Paul celebrates who they are but what is more he is excited for who they are becoming. What was it that so changed their lives? THE GOSPEL! May we commit to sharing the gospel to those we know and meet.

The gospel is greater than our agendas and personality. We should seek to share what we have found as we live out what we have been given.
