This concluding conference segment specifically identifies unhealthy elements or coping mechanisms found in people’s lives. Additionally, the problem of “the God who lingers” (or unanswered prayer) is addressed. Bill concludes with a poignant story and a creative piece of writing that he wrote, based his evening encounter with God.

This ‘follow up’ segment identifies four common ‘stones’ found in people that in fact, prevent a person from the resilient life. These stones are found in people living a part form God and, found in church folk, too.

The resilient life recognizes there are built in factors which keep a person from living resiliently. Using the story of the raising of Lazarus, this segment specifically identifies the realities adrenaline (internal chemical properties at work) and anointing ( an external reality) play in living resiliently.
