You might have heard of this term before in the Bible, but there's so much more to it than that. 

There are countless voices out there vying for our attention, but are we listening to the right one? We'll explore the fascinating story of John the Baptist and his relationship with the Lord Jesus. But we'll also get into what it means for us today, and how we can make sure we're hearing the right voices in a busy and distracting world.   • When we focus solely on magnifying our voice, we make ourselves subject to the world’s acceptance- so our volume can be lowered or raised as the world wills. When we focus solely on magnifying God's voice, God will lower or raise His voice as He wills. Whose voice are we trying to raise or lower: our voice or God's voice?
  • There are many voices and distractions calling out to us. We have to tune out the world and tune in to God.
  • There are two types of voices being projected from the body of Christ: those with selfish motives and those with pure motives.
