Welcome to the RevSarahShares podcast where we share the Bible reading and reflection from Sunday Worship.  Freya shares the Gospel story of the Woman at the Well from John 4. I love this story and there is so much we could focus on but my wondering leads me to contemplate how the most shunned woman in town is entrusted with the identity of Jesus and gets to be the Gospel Messenger. This story challenges our prejudice and judgement of others but also of ourselves.  Is there more for us to consider and perhaps opens us to challenge, and we are given permission to talk openly with God about what we know.  

And behind it all is the Lord giving dignity and grace to this beautiful, intelligent, vulnerable woman.
