This is episode 72 where we talk about how as Christians, God places compassion within each one of us, but it's up to us to decide whether we close or open our heart to receive it. I've found that one thing that really keeps my heart of compassion open is to seriously think about the needs that are in the world today.

John 3:17-18 says "But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? 18Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."

Prayer: God, I don't want to live selfishly oblivious to the needs of others. I open my heart to receive Your compassion so that I can help others. Please guide myself and anyone listening right now wherever you need us to go. We love you with everything we have Lord, Amen!
