Thomas J. Carey, a native Philadelphian, holds degrees from Temple University (B.S.) and California State University, Sacramento (M.A.), and also attended the University of Toronto in its Ph.D. Program in Anthropology.

An Air Force veteran who held a Top Secret/Crypto clearance, Tom is now a retired Philadelphia area businessman. He has also been a Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) State Section Director for Southeastern Pennsylvania from 1986 to 2002, a Special Investigator for the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies from 1991 to 2001, and a member of the CUFOS board of directors from 1997 to 2001.

Tom began investigating aspects of the Roswell Incident in 1991 for the Roswell investigative team of Kevin Randle and Don Schmitt, and since 1998 has teamed exclusively with Don Schmitt to continue a proactive investigation of the case.

Tom has authored or coauthored more than 30 published articles about the Roswell events of 1947, and has contributed to a number of books on the subject as well. He has appeared as a guest on many radio and TV shows throughout the country, including Coast to Coast AM, Fox and Friends, CN8 Friends Saturday and Larry King Live!, and he has contributed to a number of Roswell-related documentaries, both on-screen and behind the scenes.

Most recently, Tom was a consultant and interviewee (with Don Schmitt) on the highly acclaimed and rated SciFi Channel documentary, The Roswell Crash: Startling New Evidence, the History Channel’s Conspiracy Theory—Roswell, the Travel Channel’s Weird Travels—Roswell, the SciFi Channel’s SciFi Investigates—Roswell and the History Channel’s UFO Hunters – The Real Roswell.

David Christensen was introduced to Healing Touch on the 24th of October 2007. From that moment on – his life changed in positive and enlightened way.

His first moments in the care of a patient and loving healer brought visions of untold beauty, love and hope. As new modalities were added, most notably Reiki, David’s visions and creative skills were enhanced. (Resulting in two books of poetry.)

Within this latest work, The Journey of the D’s, you’ll read of the adventure that was his as he progressed on his journey. David found new strength and hope for himself and the world. His past consists of a Christian upbringing, 10 years in the Navy, a career in engineering management and finally serving local government as an emergency manager. Little in his past would point to this future.

In the beginning he set out to talk with others who had received Healing Touch and Reiki, but quickly found his own journey filled the book. Welcome to the Journey of the D’s.

Upcoming events where you can see David in action - The near future takes David to the CARA Run on September 20th giving Reiki to the runners, and then doing the same for participants in the Chicago Marathon on October 11th.
