Lauren Elkin is a writer and translator, most recently the author of Art Monsters: Unruly Bodies in Feminist Art and the UK translator of Simone de Beauvoir's previously unpublished novel The Inseparables. Her writing has appeared in a variety of publications including the London Review of Books, the New York Times, Granta, Harper’s, Le Monde, the Times Literary Supplement and Frieze.

Laurens books were Bodies of Work by Kathy Acker and The Art Of Cruelty by Maggie Nelson.
