Breakfast with Karnak returns to OpenLab with a special guest mix from Luca Cazal, the Italian-born, Ibiza-based artist whose musical journey has been shaped by decades of digging, collecting and connecting the dots between dance music’s past and present.

A longtime DC10 resident, producer, label owner and devoted vinyl enthusiast, Cazal’s sound draws from a deep well of influences — from classic Italian house and electro to dub, breaks and underground club culture. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his approach is rooted in curiosity, authenticity and a lifelong dedication to the craft.

For this edition, Luca guides us through a richly textured selection of timeless grooves, forgotten gems and forward-thinking rhythms, reflecting the depth of knowledge and musical storytelling that have made him one of Ibiza’s most respected underground selectors.

Villaça is a Brazilian DJ and producer originally from São Paulo, now based in Barcelona. Deeply connected to the underground scene, his sound moves through hypnotic grooves, minimal textures and trance-inflected atmospheres shaped by years behind the decks and in the studio.

He is also co-founder of Campana Records, a platform reflecting his forward-thinking approach to contemporary club music.

Known for carefully crafted selections and extended journeys on the dancefloor, Villaça blends South American energy with the subtle, immersive aesthetics of the European underground.

This mix was recorded live at Macarena Club in Barcelona as the warm up set for Omar DJ Terremoto.
