Episode 44 starts with Zak returning from his honeymoon, new gaming streams, the latest Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO update and the realization that insurance might be one of the biggest scams of them all.

Then things get serious.

Zak and JAMS discuss the continuing conflict involving Iran, American involvement across the Middle East, the humanitarian crisis caused by shrinking international aid, masked ICE agents, immigration, fentanyl deaths and the growing distrust between regular people and the government.

The second half turns into one of our biggest AI conversations yet. We react to reports of AI models breaking out of controlled testing environments, gaining unauthorized access to outside systems and exposing how quickly an experiment could become a real cybersecurity threat.

Could an AI duplicate itself across the internet? Could another country use AI to empty American bank accounts? Does money even mean anything when it is nothing but numbers inside a computer? And would universal basic income finally give people freedom—or remove their motivation completely?

Some of it sounds like science fiction. Some of it might be closer than we think. Either way, it definitely got our brains working.
