In this season we are reviewing the most popular arias of all times. Who doesn't know this romanza, made very famous by tenor Plácido Domingo?

By far, one of the most interesting challenges that tenors like to undertake, but make no mistake,this is a demanding song so not everybody finds it suitable for his voice.

In this season we talk about the author, and we analyze the aria from a technical vocal point of view as well as the interpretation based on the situation the character is going through.

This will be a live session recording, subject to all technical challenges that this poses. So, we beg your understanding any trouble should arise.

What a better way to express our emotions than music? This season is a tour around a number of very well-known popular songs, so popular that many Opera singers have made them part of their repertoire. How well do they achieve it? Thumbs-up or down?

This July 26 at the Auditorio Ruíz de Alarcón in the city of Puebla we were so happy of presenting this program for you all who follow us in over 1000 cities in 96 countries. 

This is part 2 comprises a tour around Mexican songs. We start with two "academic composers", moving to more popular on our 3 song and we close with 2 popular folklore songs.

So in January we managed to get together and prepare a small concert for you all, we celebrated the 2 years of our podcast. 

Many things went horribly wrong, to start with the pianist not being able to attend for a last minute injury and some other technical problems.

A song that we could not really nail back then is the song Volvere from Mexican composer María Grever. This extraordinary piece of music deserves some time to try to redo what we couldn't handle back then.
