Almost finished!
I just got it from the British Council library! This kind of literature is what children should read!!!! Real situations with real characters - real teenagers and young people! This book is not saccarine sweet, but it relieves us of the stereotypical rebel young people we read about all the time - this has children who do care, it tells us there still are children with their hearts in the right place. There is still something called family. And all children do not take the easy way. This made me so emotional and I felt good because as we grow up, we are forced to shut ourselves up, else we cannot go on. This book tells us - it is just a little light that we need.
