    Members Reviews:
    Very good plot and storyline
Doodles lanhorn and the search for the missing artifact is about a group of friends trying to stop the evil plans of their principal set in a world of drawing magic. Very good plot and storyline. Characters are really well defined and likeable. There are a ton of unexpected twists throughout. It says for middle grade but I think it would be enjoyable for any age.
Magical story of adventure and a great bed time story to read to children
My children love this series. The secretive craft of Wizartry allows Doodles and his friends to protect inner earth while learning to overcome their own challenges of fitting into school, overcoming insecurity and working hard to accomplish a goal.
The author keeps the action moving and adds in mystical creatures as our hero discovers that he has a unique gift that will save the day.
I enjoyed that the book never turns dark so it was a great bedtime story for my 8 yr old.
I hope the author continues the series.
    Awesome ! ! !
Imagination to new level. Doodles and his friends and family take on an evil principal and try to rescue an artifact. I liked the characters, especially the detective. There is a lot of creativity put into the story and not only does it have a lot of action, but it also has a well developed story. Trying not to give away too much, but the idea of people thinking the protagonist is the bad guy is neat.
    Nothing can stop Doodles
Nothing can stop Doodles. The momentum of the story propells him and his friends into really dangwrous situations, but he is more confident now and has all his friends to help him. I like how the Wizartry world is constantly in danger of someone destroying it or its secret. This thin line makes it very suspenseful.
    Takes you on a journey
Takes you on a journey. I got lost in this book in a good way. The shifts between scenes is very smooth and the plot easy to follow but keeps you guessing.

I love the characters and the main character is my favorite. He is so relatable but makes the right choices even when it's difficult and I really admire that about him. Great book and a great author who I hope gets more recognition on the future! I would definitely recommend this to others!

    Publisher's Summary:
Unlike most folks, Hannah Westley never outgrew her childhood sense of wonder. Her first twenty years on the farm were the beginning of a life filled with adventure. Her simple childhood was rich with experiences that offer a glimpse into a time when family values had real meaning. The maps in the one-room Mine Bank School were her Bible and by the eighth grade she had read all of the books in the library. A perpetual run-away, she often dreamed of stowing away on a banana boat and escaping to South America! Her imagination became her passport to far-away lands. As an adult, Hannah did indeed reach many distant shores. Nimble as a hummingbird, she zooms through her early years and inspires us to follow her amazing journey. Children of all ages will enjoy these memories of a very different lifestyle and day not so long ago.

    Tales of the Past Shared
I was given a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review . Hannah Cook Westley wrote stories of her childhood and young adult life on a rural farm in Pennsylvania from the 1930s through 1950. She brings the past to life vividly. The narrator, Linda Velwest, does an excellent job. I enjoyed listening and believe listeners of all ages will be charmed and educated by this book.
    Good Read
    Any additional comments?
Wow by Hannah Cook Westley was a good quick read. Hannah was a girl who grew up on the farm but didn't let that stop her from making life an adventure. This was a great book about Hannah's life.
put this on you next to listen too
I was gifted this audio ARC for a honest and unbiased review from the author/narrator.
Hannah Cook Westly wrote a very different kind of story then I'm used to reading/listening to! But saying that I loved it! For a short story it was all about memories of the women who grew up on the family farm. I am doing my genealogy of my family and wish I had thought of doing the same. There was a touch of drama and a lot of laugh out loud moments.
Linda Velwest's voice was spot on for the story but it was a little on the slow side actually sped the book up to 1.5.
I highly recommend this audio book to you. Yes you reading my review.....buy this audio book
    Wow
    Wow
    : Hannah Cook Westley
A short listen of memories of a woman that grew up on her family farm. There is humor as well as a bit of drama to keep th listener entertained. It was nice to hear about life not too many years past. I like when family share stories of their relatives from their writings.
The narration was a little slow. but I listened on my Kindle at 2X the speed and that helped. Linda Velwest's voice went well with the story.
