Operation Retroshock

Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, Mike Lacey and Chris Vint proudly present to you Episode 10 of Wrestleshock.

As the last full episode of Wrestleshock was the Honky Tonk Man interview and he was arguably the greatest intercontinental champion of all time, Mike and Chris give to you YOUR top 5 IC champions of all time.  Who made the list the most?  Was it Jeff Jarrett? Kane or HHH?  well i don't recall them making a lot of lists!  Mike and Chris then go over your choices and their own choices as well. They talk about the 1000th episode of Raw very briefly and then what they think of the current state of the IC title in the WWE!

You have a task ahead of you as on 17th August is Summerslam and hopefully on the 12th August Mike and Chris....and perhaps someone else will be recording their Summerslam episode and we would like to hear from you again!  if you are a wrestling fan, why not send in your favourite moments or matches to [email protected] or [email protected].  please have them in before the 12th August!

Hello everyone and welcome to the 7th installment of Wrestleshock reviews.  As you would have heard on the last episode, Hayley (xswantongirlyx) Stewart did a review on the Trish Stratus DVD and now i have a few other reviewers for the podcast.

First of all I review a DVD that means a great deal to me as its one of my favourites - that's right i review Mick Foley's Hits and misses.....or do i? Well there is only one way to find out and that's by listening.

Martin Stynes (martintalks on youtube) has a fantastic review on the Phenom of the WWE and that is the Undertaker!  Martin goes over the epic set Tombstone - History of the Undertaker.  Thank you to Martin for doing a great job!

Not to be outdone Chris Hill (mrbigred1990 on youtube) has a similar set in mind and that is the 3 disk set of the Twisted and Disturbed life of Kane!  Chris does an amazing job on his review of one of his favourite WWE superstars!

This is the longest episode of Wrestleshock reviews so far and thank you to the guys for their terrific reviews!  If you know of a DVD i should review, then email me at [email protected] or head over to my youtube channel Vintomania and look at my DVD collection and post a comment.  Follow me on twitter Vinto316, Mike lacey is @mlacey91, Martin is @martinstyness and Chris Hill is @chrishill90.  Dont forget to follow the show @Wrestleshock316!

Hey guys

Welcome to another episode of Wrestleshock Reviews and this is a bonus episode.  Martin Stynes (martintalks from YouTube) helps Chris go over the historic Raw 1000 episode.  as Michael Cole always says, it is the longest running episodic tv programme.

Chris and Martin go over the returning superstars such as DX, The Rock, Lita and the APA.  They also talk about the superstars who couldnt make it such as Edge and Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Who do the guys want to face The Rock at the Royal Rumble?  Will a 3 hour RAW each week work?  The guys discuss that and much more

View Martin's fantastic YouTube channel by searching for Martintalks and have a  chat with him on Twitter - @martinstyness.  Chris is also on Twitter - @vinto316 and the show is @Wrestleshock316.

Hey guys

Yes you read correctly, Wrestleshock had an interview with the greatest intercontinental champion of all time, The Honky Tonk Man!  Hopefully this  was a pure joy to listen to  and both Mike and Chris are fans of the gentleman!  The guys talk about his reign as the IC champ, how he dropped the belt, his time with Greg Valentine and his thoughts on WCW!  A very indepth and not to be missed interview!

Make sure you head over to his website www.honkytonkman.net and follow him on twitter @OfficialHTM.  Thank you very much to this legend for taking time out of his schedule to appear on the show!

Chris also announces who the lucky winner was of the blu-ray copy of the best of Raw and Smackdown 2011! Was it you?

The next full episode featuring Mike and Chris will be about YOUR top 5 intercontinental champions of all time so still email your list to [email protected]! Hey guys

SDCC happened a few days ago and at the Mattel panel was the showing of the upcoming Basic and Elite WWE figures.  I am joined by a special guest in the form of YouTube veteran Chris Hill (mrbigred1990) as we go through the pictures of the reveals we saw.  You can head over to www.ringsidecollectibles.com or www.toynewsi.com.  www.bigbadtoystore.com and www.wrestlingworld.co.uk are taking pre-orders for these upcoming items.  Hope you enjoy the podcast with Chris and his review as well as Martin Stynes' is coming in the next week or so.

Also on this show is an announcement for an upcoming guest on Wrestleshock which I hope you all will like!

Welcome back to another episode of Wrestleshock Reviews.  This is the 5th episode of the reviews and hope you are all enjoying what the show is doing!

Chris has a few reviews for you and has a very special guest to help him review another dvd.  Chris first looks at the Elimination Chamber 2012 courtesy of Silvervision.co.uk - Chris goes over the good and the bad (the "great" khali) of the PPV and was this better than the previous release in the Royal Rumble 2012?  What are your thoughts on this?

Hayley Stewart (hayleythetiny on twitter and xswantongirlyx on Youtube) sends in an mp3 file to review the fantastic DVD release of Trish Stratus 100% stratusfaction guaranteed.  With Hayley being a big diva fan, she dissects the DVD and lets you know her thoughts on this.

Chris then has a fan request to review one dvd and that was Paul "Spanner" Yorke who asked for Ric Flair & The Four Horsemen to be reviewed so Chris obliges and goes through the set on one of the best factions of all time!  Does the 2 DVD disc set do justice to the newly inducted Hall of Famers?

Follow the show on Twitter - @Wrestleshock316, Chris @Vinto316 and Hayley @Hayleythetiny.  Is there a DVD that you want reviewed?  Check out Chris' DVD collection by heading to youtube and checking out Chris' collection video.  Vintomania is his account name!

Welcome One and All to the 50th Episode of Operation Retroshock!

Well everyone it is finally here! Almost 2 and a half years from when it all started....We began as a Monthly Show, then we went to every 2 weeks...then we started another show (Wrestleshock) and then another show (ORS Reviews) then not so long ago we  switched to being a weekly show for the Summer! So you are one way or another getting some sort of show from the Retroshock Family every week....and long may it continue!

But down to the reason why we are all here, Episode 50.

Allan and Chris decided that in order to mark this occasion in Retroshock History they would do a Retro-Retroshock. What do they mean by that? Well this Episode will follow the original format of Show Number 1! So there's going to be a TV Show, Game, Movie and some Wrestling...so here is what we have for each category:

TV Show: The Real Ghostbusters (including an interview with the voice of Janine, Laura Summer)

Game: Star Wars - Rogue Squadron 2

Movie: The Expendables

Wrestling: Rowdy Roddy Piper - Born into Controversy

So you have your subjects, you know what to expect from the guys if you have been listening since the start....take that expectation, turn it to 11 and enjoy the fun and craziness that is Operation Retroshock!

A little event went down in LA a few weeks ago...it goes by the name of E3 and it is where everything for the coming year and beyond is announced...or so we thought...yeah Nintendo thanks for announcing the 3DS XL after this was recorded and from leaving it completely off E3.

Allan and Chris sit down to discuss everything from the Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, EA and Ubisoft conferences. Who will be the big winner of E3 2012? Will it be Microsoft's Halo 4? Nintendo and the Wii U? or how about Ubisoft with either Assassin's Creed 3 or Watch Dogs?

Not only that but who will be the losers? Who didn't cut it this year? Well just sit back, relax and let the guys take you through the good, the bad and everything in between from this years event.

Enjoy!
