Surprise! To celebrate the upcoming inaugural production of our sister company OTG West, Zach sat down with co-founders Eric Ruiter and Brittney Moss to discuss their dreams and goals with this brand new company. They take a dive into what it means for them to return to the world of Almost, Maine, and how it's felt the past few months watching their relationship move into the married portion (it's gross).
We'll be returning with new episodes this fall!
Almost, Maine runs June 22nd through July 1st at the NAPC Black Box Theatre. Tickets are available at otgwest.org
Zach's second podcast, Good Game Great Game, is now available for streaming and download on Apple Podcasts and Google Play.

In our season one finale for OPHELIA TALKS, we flip the script on our normal host, and let guest host Mike Tubman throw some questions Zach's way. Now that jerk knows how he's made other people feel over the past season. The pair discuss some of Zach's favorite memories over his time with Ophelia, where Zach's love of Theater and Video Gaming stems from, and the process of reinventing yourself in your late twenties.

It's our final episode on Lysistrata Jones! Say goodbye before our final weekend of performances with Zach and guest Mike Tubman (The Ref), as they discuss the ancient art of gift giving, how to use full names on podcasts, and an extremely sultry performance of "Happy Birthday to You" that Marilyn Monroe would call "excessive".
Lysistrata Jones is now playing at the Ophelia Theatre through April 8th. Tickets for the show can be found at our website at opheliatheatre.com.

Kevin Ruiter (Harold) joins Zach on the 'pod this week! The pair discuss their upcoming soup-slurping podcast, Kevin's life as a Scientist (did you know that Kevin is a scientist?), and where Kevin learned how to do his signature Body Rolls. His majestic Body Rolls. His scene-stealing Body Rolls. Body Rolls that are worth the price of admission to Lysistrata Jones, alone. I cannot oversell you on these Body Rolls.
Lysistrata Jones is now playing at the Ophelia Theatre through April 8th. Tickets for the show can be found at our website at opheliatheatre.com. There will be Body Rolls.

LYSISTRATA JONES is now playing at the Ophelia Theatre! We had an amazing opening weekend and are looking forward to three more weekends of bedazzlement! OPHELIA TALKS isn't letting up on the LJ train though - this week, Zach sits down with our Cleonice, Jianzi Colon. The pair chat about the staggering amount of research Jianzi brought to the role, her fascination with language and geography, and how Survival Jobs are the worst, but also kinda the best sometimes?
Lysistrata Jones is now playing at the Ophelia Theatre through April 8th. Tickets for the show can be found at our website at opheliatheatre.com.

Lawryn LaCroix (Heteria) joins Zach on the podcast this week! The pair of them discuss the events that lead Lawryn to form her own production company, Pink House, how she came out of her comfort zone to join the cast of a musical, and they take a deep dive into their emoji-using habits.
Lysistrata Jones runs at the Ophelia Theatre March 16th through April 8th. Tickets for the show can be found at our website at opheliatheatre.com.

Zach's tied up with moving this week, so join guest hosts Kevin Ruiter and Billie Aken-Tyers on a roundtable discussion with the five new cast members for the upcoming Brooklyn Academy of Music and Edinburgh Fringe runs of Your Alice, including Luke Antony Neville (Charles Dodgson), Tom Chandler (Tweedle Dee), Jim Lawrenson (White Rabbit), Olivier Sublet (Swing) and Jane Logan (Swing). The group discusses how they all ended up at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts together, The excitement (fear?) of living together while in Scottland, and Tom's interesting wardrobe choices when recording podcasts.
You can see Olivier and Kevin in Lysistrata Jones, which runs at the Ophelia Theatre March 16th through April 8th. Tickets for the show can be found at our website at opheliatheatre.com.
Your Alice runs at the Brooklyn Academy of Music May 23rd through the 27th. Tickets will be available soon.

This week, listen in on a fun little coffee date between Ophelia's Artistic Director and Lysistrata Jones director Billie Aken-Tyers and your ever present host Zach Rich as they have a heart-to-heart about what it means to create work, how to connect with their collaborators and friends, and why it is that we're even doing what we do in the first place. Actually, that sounds a little heavy. They talk about how Billie is secretly stealing everyone's heart and devouring them to keep herself young forever. There - that's a way more interesting description.

Joining Zach on the podcast this week is Lysistrata Jones actor Jason Hurtado ('Uardo). The pair talk about their time working together in the service industry, the musicals, video games and cartoons that shaped their lives, and gush just a little bit too long about director Billie Aken-Tyers for it to seem like she is not paying them to say nice things about her.
Lysistrata Jones runs March 16th through April 8th. Tickets for the show can be found at our website at opheliatheatre.com.

This week, Zach sits down with Matt Summers (Xander). The pair of them talk about the music that inspired them (don't judge their answers this is a judgement-free podcast), their lost high school loves, and the joys of the mascot costume life.
Lysistrata Jones runs March 16th through April 8th. Tickets will be on sale soon.
