  • Opi & the Bear Episode 177 - Brackets are SET!

Grimbo is BACK! And so are we…at being bad at everything LOL! We had some MORE technical issues but we were able to plow through it without issues believe it or not! The GM session this time is off the hook as we talk about the 33s, Maniacs, Troopers, Fumbduckers, and Stalkers who all need help with their teams this week despite being in the post-season already. LT (LaDainian Tomlinson) is the man for the NFL preview this week and it is absolutely LIT!! So, LIT…for LT, so no "I" in LIT for this…sorry, that's a really bad Opi joke. Anyway, enjoy!!

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 176 - Playoff Rundown with Opi in the HIZZY

Grimbo is still missing, rumor is he's the cabinet member for

Trump as the Liaison to Height Challenged Individuals. With him missing, we bring Opi back into the house and we have a nice dinner that has been owed to Bear for about a year. We do the usual and then during the Ominous Thoughts and Blunder of Wonder we run down the playoff picture and it's a DISASTER! But we'll get it all worked out! It always seems to run pretty well when Opi is in house because the talking is easier, but he always breaks our shit also so we had some technical difficulties that we worked around.

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 175 - Getting Playoff Ready, Except Bear

This is normal except we lost Grimbo for the week as he travels to do something with someone that we really didn't care about. This is a normal podcast for the guys and about half way through we do pay a little tribute to our buddy Jerry Myers who passed away a short while ago. He's the father of FBFLer Bob Myers. Lots of talk about the RB points this week and how they've exploded and of course, if you haven't heard it yet, the GMing we do for other teams always gets fun conversations going.

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 174 - Bear, Grandpa & the Boys

As it says above, we are without our buddy Opi today as he made out with Bear at poker and caught the Dominican Black Lung disease. Bear does his best Opi impersonation by sucking at introductions, but we had a lot of laughs anyway. There's a lot of just banter but it gets really silly at the end when we PREDICT THE PLAYOFF TEAMS FOR THE FBFL!!

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 173 - Not EVERYTHING Stays in the DR

Bear brought back some 3rd world disease and is on several

different medications that make him tired and weird. Ryan & AJ make up for it as they have some massive amount of cross-talk going on today which makes the points hard to hear, but makes the commentary a lot more giggly. We do some chit-chat about the past couple weeks and then roll on through some Fantasy GM'ing of other teams and then call it a little earlier than usual so Bear doesn't fall asleep at the wheel.

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 172 - GM'ing OTHER Fantasy Teams is FUN!!

Week 8 starts the wind up to the wind down and we spend a LOT of time just talking football itself. Of course fantasy rules the roost here but just talking NFL with a lot of liveliness. You also get the best of both worlds thanks to the spirit of Halloween as Opi spends a lot of time changing his masks so you don't have to look at that mug the whole time. Grimbo comes in HOT with a lot of GM questions for both the NFL & the fantasy league stirring up some great conversation. Lastly, as we announce, we'll be out for a couple weeks as the guy doing all the AV work will be on a beach sipping on something refreshing!

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 171 - The Grim Episode

Why did we call it "The Grim Episode" and he's not

even in studio? Because it's short and stubby, that's why! It was literally Opi & the Bear so we cut out a lot of extra and just talked football and then fantasy. We keep it pretty upbeat but definitely miss the troops!

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 170 - Name That Game

We get Grimbo back this week so we're at full force as we

continue along our merry ways of getting most predictions wrong. It's more of the same for the most part but Opi & Bear introduce and explain the leagues "Grudge Week" and they discuss the matchups and even give the games bowl names. We come up with some stupid but fun names for bowl games so the NCAA may want to have a listen in case they're tired of stupid shit like the Tostitos Bowl or the Duke's Mayo Bowl……just awful! Anyway, hope you enjoy and if you want to get more involved and see the information that the guys talk about, it'll be on the screen for those watching on YouTube.

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 169 - Having Some Fantasy Fun

Bear is starting to get some production value on YouTube as he's learning the software and how to create scenes. Next up, trying to figure out how to get Opi's mic to be a little louder, but then again, that may work against the crew and we may lose watchers/listeners. Bear did forget the record button and we figured it out about 10 minutes in and we started over, but we got it all. We also added in some visuals for certain sections so you can actually see what we're talking about. Other than that, it's the same ole same ole as we break down FBFL games, NFL games, and individual fantasy players throughout the discussion. Lots of laughter and lots of energy even though we're missing Grimbo for this week due to illness, and we have a KILLER montage at towards the end when we introduce the NFL predictions for those watching on YouTube.

  • Opi & the Bear Episode 168 - YouTube…we're back!

We did it! Back on video and this one is pretty fun both on

video and on the audio alone. Bear did play around with transitions for the video side of things giving some more visuals as we talk showing close ups as we talk, predictions and the weekly hottie that Opi chooses. As far as content, it's the usual except we're missing AJ though he dials in from work, listens, and fires off the occasional text for us to read to the listener. We had a fun night of chatter and are learning to spend a lot more time talking fantasy overall and not just about the FBFL. Last thing, why are the podcasts a little longer? We don't pay anyone to cut these and we're not doing it twice. We cut the video, post it, export the audio from it and post it. Sorry all, that's just asking too much from 4 guys with busy schedules.
