Opi & the Bear

If that title doesn't get you listening, no title will! We have a lengthy "Show Me Your Love" section as the guys really get into having fun with this at Opi and Jody's expense. We follow that with a spirited debate during Opi's Oral piece that was a lot of fun, but got interrupted by the Cubs stupid decision of putting in Smyly every time they have the lead only to watch him blunder it. The post draft blues was the theme for Bear, but the rest of the guys were having fun brow beating him for his poor draft. But, we beat up a few teams in this one and give a lot of props. Grimbo joins us again and we're having a heck of a fun time with him joining us this whole time. We also drop in our week 1 predictions to get you all prepared for your fantasy week!

Worked fine a week ago, now it's nothing but echo and it's becoming FRUSTRATING! Plus, this one stopped recording about half way through it……so we finish without the real talent, Ryan and AJ. Grimbo came back to help us out for this whole thing though making it worthwhile to listen to. We talk a little baseball, but spend most of our time looking at the Bud protection. We draft an ESPN team with Grimbo's assistance. Oh, and AJ is a real crabby asshole in this one because he lost in golf to Bear.

This week we bring in podcast buddy Grimbo to run down a few dates coming up including the various different drafts we are partaking in, and a couple golf outings. After that we do have to discuss the glaring opposites that is south side and north side baseball. Then, we get into what we're all waiting for! PREDICTIONS! We predict who the keepers for 2023 are in the Miller league, for non-FBFLers, we spend a lot of time talking player value and what round a player should go. Then we do a few NFL predictions and call it a night! This one was very lively and a lot of fun!

It's fixed!! Well, mostly. The boys move the show to Bear's house with the better internet and the sound is fixed. Until about 10 minutes in and Mediacom just goes out for no reason! They just can't win!! LOL!! We kept recording during that time and Bear kept some of those in because some of the shit they talked was funny. That being said, they get it back online and get good production value this time around. They talk quite a bit about the MLB, a little about some up and coming fantasy football items, and they finish off with some FBFL news. We're getting close to everyone's favorite season!!

We spend all night watching and talking about the MLB Home Run Derby, which was a lot of fun again this year. We did have quite a bit of technical difficulty thanks to T-Mobile's new wireless service at the Produca's house. We do have some weird noise in the background that sounds like someone is playing the tambourine, we apologize for that, changes are underway to fix that. It takes about 15 minutes before we get a little more excitement on this one so bear with us for a short while.

This one is short! Mainly because we are missing our main mouth! If you're looking for a mostly Opi-less podcast…this one is for you! If Opi is your guy, you may want to pass on this one! Our talent was in Mexico trying to retrieve his wife or something and calls in late into the podcast. On top of that, the boys really mess around with Opi as he's trying to get into the meeting, which was a blast for us. In the meantime, the guys just babble incessantly about anything that comes to their heads. We do chat a little about the NBA and NHL championships and also talk about the Cubs vs Cardinals London series, but mostly, we just chatter and it was fun!

We spend quite a bit of time watching, listening to, and criticizing AJ eating his wings and fries lunch while we also chat about Liam Hendricks comeback from cancer. Then we chat a little NBA and a little NHL. Then we fire up some strong decisioning on who should sell and who should buy in the MLB. Then we finish with a quick-fire on what 2024 NFL free agent will have the strongest fantasy impact in 2023.
