Today Paul and Conner decide if they will "Push the Button" in some give-and-take questions posed to them. The two also talk about salad, as Conner continues to find new dishes he enjoys while living in Bangkok. Other topics discussed include: needle in a haystack, ice skating, and grossly overrated fast food places.
Join Conner (SOLO EPISODE) to explore his intrinsic motivation. Why does he like to do what he likes to do? And what does he like to do anyway? Conner talks about language learning because honestly, learning Thai is what he does in his free time. Never mind video games, learning is more fun... I guess.
footnote: Conner can't do math. 500 bhat is roughly 14 USD
This week Conner and Paul reinvent the Thanksgiving meal with the main dish being: PASTAAAA (พาสต้า in Thai). The pair also talk about a magic credit card wand, discuss Paul's new hobby of learning Italian via Duolingo and Drops, and try to figure out where the internet happens.
This week Paul and Conner talk about the spooky season... it's Halloween time baby! The pair also discuss Conner's desire to stay away from snow, their inability to come up with a new sign-off, Meta's attempt at creating the next "internet", and talk about the only social media app Conner uses, BeReal.
Paul and Conner talk for the first time since Conner has moved halfway across the world. The switch to living in Bangkok, Thailand has been one with many ups and downs, and in today's episode, Conner discusses what those are. From the major culture shock, eating food as a vegetarian, teaching 3-year-olds English, and navigating the big city, Conner has had many experiences within his first 3 weeks there.
