The Boston Public Health Commission has issued a cocaine advisory to community healthcare providers and organizations about “concerning levels” of suspected opioid related overdoses in Roxbury’s Nubian Square among cocaine users. Health officials attribute many of the overdoses to the presence of fentanyl within the local cocaine supply. Dan discussed the major concerns of how fentanyl is creeping into and plaguing our society. Dan also welcomed on Rev. Eugene Rivers to discuss the disadvantages that some of Boston's youth are facing.
