Where we discuss the concept of good movie years and how or why the pandemic might create a good movie year down the line. We then play a game of casting the POTUS of movies, in which an actor is elected/chosen to play the President in all films during the 4-8 year term of the real president.

Where we talk about Palm Springs, The Old Guard, and I'll Be Gone In The Dark. Then we have a discussion about good/bad movies & tv. Guilty pleasures, fascinating failures and the "so bad it's good" stuff that we love to hate and hate to love. We finish off with another pitch game, this time we pitch each other sequels that should be made.

Where Barrett Gipp joins us again for a bit of role play. Mike & Chris pitch their ideas for tv series based on existing properties to Gipp as the executive. Then we do a Top 5 of adaptations that are better than the source material.

Where we get back on the horse and record a new episode after almost a month off. We discuss sports as entertainment and their absence in the pandemic. Where we finally upload an old episode. Friend of the show Barrett Gipp joins us to discuss weird Internet film theories. Then we try out a new game called Let's Fix It, where we "fix" pop culture that isn't really broken. For our inaugural attempt we fix Nolan's Batman trilogy.

Where Shawn Carter, stand up comedian and host of the "Pick a Side Stupid" podcast joins us. We talk about what he's been up to during the stay at home order as well as a deeper discussion of how the pandemic has affected stand up and what its future may be. We close it out with a Top 5 on the best Stand Up specials or albums of the last 10 years.

Where friend of the pod, Steve York joins us for a rather difficult conversation about trying to separate the art from the artist. It goes about as well as can be expected. We recover nicely and have a strong finish discussing our Top 5 movies that we feel are underseen.

Where we have Travis Trudell, co-host of The Complete, on the pocast. He talks with us about being pop culture dads for a bit before diving into a discussion on long takes & single take movies.
