Well, Florida is un/fortunately a treasure trove of interesting things and happenings, and cults really shouldn't have surprised us. Koreshan Unity had a seemingly quick rise and fall in believers. It may have had something to do with the fact that they believed in reincarnation, but when their founder died he wasn't, you know, reincarnated. Whoopsie daisy. The reason for the hauntings in this location are a little vague, but it still proved to have some interesting evidence.

They say the older the building the more haunted it's likely to be, and with a nearly 200 year old building in a 250 year old town we'd say this is a pretty good place to look. Not only does this museum have a few deaths under it's belt, but each room is filled with long forgotten articles of clothing, furniture, military and medical equipment, and of course it has its fair share of creepy dolls as well. It seems these spirits have plenty of the material world to hang onto.

Holy cow, it's finally happened. After a long dry spell we have finally investigated a location ourselves! This location came to us from a friend of a friend, and we're glad it happened, because this place was a lot. Not knowing initially what to expect this ended up being much bigger and much more daunting than we had prepared for. And that's just the way we like it. Now let's find out if we found ourselves some ghosts.

Sanitorium? Sanitarium? Is there really a difference? Well, that depends on who you ask (of course..) Either way, that's where we are, this time in North Dakota! Sometimes lovingly referred to as the sanitorium of DEATH, this hospital is barely a shell of its formal self, actually recently being condemned due to its unsafe conditions. But those that have been fortunate enough to investigate the grounds all agree on one thing; this place, is HAUNTED. So since we can't visit it any more, let's all live vicariously through The Paranormal Files once more, and see what spooky things they found this time. Spoilers, some scares aren't always paranormal ...

New York City is anything but small town America, but we can never resist a good historical background. This building has been around for over 200 years, and has housed one of Americas most notable, and arguably infamous politicians in history. But his temper may have followed him into the afterlife, along with the presence of around 20 other spirits. So what's got these spirits all worked up in one of New York's finest restaurants? Our first visit in 2024 is to Washington state, and of course the first city that comes to mind would be Govan, right? Don't worry, we hadn't heard of it either, and actually no one has for probably 40+ years. This town is essentially abandoned (aside from a married couple, and a mysterious third resident..). But what has stuck around are the ghosts from multiple unsolved murders, and according to Afterlife Echoes on YouTube, it seems they still have plenty that they need to say.

So, Portland, OR may not be "small town America", but sometimes a haunt is just too god to pass up, and with claims like most haunted place on earth, how could we say no? So down we go, to the Shanghai Tunnels beneath Chinatown in Portland, where they had a little bit of everything. Gambling, drinking, prostitution rings, and kidnapping for enslavement. This time we are living vicariously through @twinparanormal, and boy did they definitely do all of the heavy lifting for us.

Well, it seems our (virtual) travels have brought us to the wonderful state of Nebraska this week. We really went with small town America on this one and have found one of the states most haunted locations in Valentine, Centennial Hall Museum. This building stood as a high school first, and that is where our haunted tale begins. And the source of this legend? a clarinet, of course. Who knew that being in the band could be so deadly?
