(מא) וַיְהִי מִקֵּץ שְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה וְאַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה וַיְהִי בְּעֶצֶם הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה יָצְאוּ כָּל צִבְאוֹת יְקֹוָק מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם: 

If the goal is rescue, why does Hashem bring so many plagues?

Does everyone grow up? When Moshe went out to his brothers with eyes and a heart of greatness

וכי אין הכל גדלין? כשמשה רבינו יצא אל אחיו בעינים ובלב של גדולה
