With Oracle Solaris, you can protect data at rest (e.g. with the new ZFS on-disk encryption), or data in motion (e.g. with the built-in cryptographic framework), reduce insider risk with Role Based Access Control, as well as use Zones as a security isolation feature including its new delegated administration capabilities. In addition, together with process privileges, customers can add modern security policies to legacy applications without changing them, which offers enough granularity to meet their specific security requirements.
