The Remastered Editions of Grand Theft Auto from the Playstation 2 era landed this week on PC and next gen consoles and boy has the release been messy. From crazy rain to hidden coding to misspellings and much more, it's very clear shortcuts were taken to get these games released on time. Who might be to blame for these issues? How do we think they will impact the sales of the game? Why does this trend seem to show up every year and big companies haven't seemed to learn? We discuss all of this and much more on another episode of the world's longest running gaming podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

Niantic and Portkey Games will be shutting down Wizards Unite, an AR game in the Harry Potter Universe that was hoping to match the success of Pokemon Go. What could be blamed for the games failure? High licensing fees? Social Media Antics by Harry Potter's Author? The Pandemic? Some sort of combination of all of it? We discuss this, Rob has played a lot of GPS games and certianly has an opinion! Steam has decided to ban Virtual Currency driven games from it's marketplace, causing Epic to open the door and say perhaps they would allow it in certain circumstances. Do we think these sorts of newer kinds of currency have a place in games? Or are we reminded a bit much of Diablo 3's auction house, which brought down the reception of that game until it was taken out. We discuss all this and much more in the news, even after a late start to our recording due to the power outage. Come join us for a lucky episode of the longest running video game podcast, Orange Lounge Radio!

In a surprise move against attacks this week, the servers for some Littlebigplanet title were shut down with no warning. Although Littlebigplanet 3 on PS4 can still play all previously made levels, this still comes as a sad reminder that nothing in the digital age can truly be forever.
