Teacher: Matt Burleson Concluding our series on roles in the church, Matt Burleson leads us in a discussion of how we discover our talents and how we can use them for God’s glory.

Teacher: Justin P. Sivley Looking at Luke 18 and the Parable of the Pharisee and the Publican, followed by looking into Jesus’ words about marriage and divorce in Matthew 19.

Speaker: Justin P. Sivley Christians must remember that we are not our own, but that we belong to Christ. Since that is the case, we must glorify God in all that we do, and not use the good things that God has created for sin.

Speaker: Justin P. Sivley As we prepare to go out into our community and spread the gospel, we are able to find some encouragement in the word of Jesus in the parable of the Sower. For our lesson, we look at Mark’s account of the parable in Mark 4:1-20.

Teacher: Justin P. Sivley As Jesus begins his final journey to Jerusalem, we find an account of healing and teaching in Luke 17.  Jesus healed ten lepers, from which we can learn lessons about faith and obedience.  He also began to speak to his disciples about days to come, even speaking about the Last Day.

Speaker: Justin P. Sivley While the Jews placed much emphasis on being ritually pure, Jesus emphasized the need for a purity (or cleanliness) of heart if one wishes to “see God.” As Christians, we should pray with David, “Create in me a clean heart, O God.”

Teacher: Jim Roquemore The first few minutes of this class are spent reviewing Galatians 1:1-10 (covered in a previous non-recorded class), after which we turn our focus to the remainder of the chapter beginning in verse 11.
