How can you be in, but not of the world? In 2017 and 2018 I visited Lebanon on a trip to learn from and encourage believers following Jesus by serving refugees in deep need. I remember feeling incredible jet lag and disorientation as we made our way through the villages to the churches that had been around for hundreds of years. I remember sitting with Pastors who were serving and sharing their stories of faith in God's miraculous movement. And when I was ready to leave, I remember them holding my hand, crying, and praying for God to encourage me, Orchard Church, and the American Church. It brought me to tears, and filled my soul with hope. There is something amazing about the heart of Jesus and his followers praying for each other with a profound confidence and faith in God. This week we will take a look at the end of Jesus High Priestly Prayer in John 17. I know it will be an encouragement to you. See you Sunday at 9:00am or 10:30am, or online!
This week Pastors Assad and Dan Discuss what it means to have a faith in Christ that continues. It's easy to celebrate Jesus on days like Christmas and Easter, what happens after Easter?
