Order of Shana: The Women running Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG

Do you have times that you feel fatigued after judging a game? Things just didn't go the way the players would have liked to see their PC decisions turnout.

What makes it your game also as a judge? Do you get to have input in how something turns out?

Grab a cup of your favorite hot beverage and come listen to a bit of what I do for prepping to run DCC RPG.

My local group are helping out the Shudfolk in The Chained Coffin by Michael Curtis.

I'm prepping Brendan LaSalle's adventure, Came the Monsters of Midwinter.

What do you do to prep for running DCC RPG? Let me know at [email protected]

Judge HitMore and Judge JoanofArc Destroyer discuss an article from Dragon Magazine written in 1980. Women want equality and why not.

We give you our opinion on the article and what similarities we still see today in 2023.

What is on the wish list of ready for this DCC judge. Well, something that I've wanted to do for some time. If I don't start now, I will have more and more to come and the list will end up being too overwhelming for me. Just like Appendix N, the book list put together by Gary Gygax and what many of the modules published by Goodman Games take inspiration from.

I talk about the 0-level funnel I will be running at Gary Con 2023 in March. It is an overview of the 0-level funnel and a few dice rolls for the random flavors one could encounter in a Go! Afterlife Bar. Play an undead and come to life at the end of the adventure.

Judge JoanofArc Destroyer talks with Judge Marlene "HitMore" about her campaign setting using Swordfish Islands publication of The Dark of Hot Springs Island and A Field Guide to Hot Springs Island. Join us as we talk about what other DCC RPG rules we might use in the Swordfish Islands.

This episode focuses on 3PP Thick Skull Adventures and the adventures of Stephen Newton. Grab your note pad and make note of all the works by this 3PP and those written for Goodman Games.

You will find that this episode needs better editing. I do all of it myself.

I do not want you to focus on that. What I want you to focus on is the passion I have for Inclusivity, Diversity, Stereotypes, and the "X" card.

I want you to hear my thoughts on how to include everyone in a TTRPG game. There are table manners, after all!

Use "being polite", "the Golden Rule", "please and thank you", etc. Just be kind.

It is never okay to poke fun at other players during the game. Don't be rude. Don't be cruel.

Interview with Judge Marlene "HitMore" about her second Gary Con experience and first experience being a judge at an in-person gaming convention.

Our 'local' group gathers again on Zoom to play the second part of Judge Jessica McDevitt's "Who Lives in Grimsborough?" Jess then goes on to playtest it at Empire of the Cyclops Con hosted by Goodman Games. This was a virtual run con using a great platform - GatherTown. You will have a chance to gather in another Goodman Games online convention in 2022.
