Every Christian is in a battle but as men we have a key role to play in leading our families, churches and societies in victory against our enemies. We need courageous men prepared to fight, formidable men who will not be intimidated, discerning men who know who the enemy is and understand the enemies tactics, strong men on the front lines fighting where the battle rages most. Wise men who know when to speak and when to stay silent. And godly men who know the Truth and the God we fight for.

In a time in which men don't know how to be men, we need to reinforce our understanding of what a man is as distinct from a woman.
We had the honor of hosting Tyrell Haag to provide some insight into the distinct practice of masculinity. He explains how maleness, manhood, manliness are fundamental truths that we must grasp in order for us to practice masculinity the way God intended. Tyrell is an incredible man who recently moved to Canada to serve as the senior pastor of Pineland Baptist Church. He is also a husband, father and an accomplished martial arts instructor. We were honored to learm from him.

The well has been poisoned and those that miss the big warning signs above it are either illiterate, blind or devastatingly undiscerning. For over a century, the blatant attacks on masculinity have numbed the masses and made us easy prey for serpents, vultures and various other predators or scavengers. Those who drink from this well have bought into the pernicious lie that an inherent brokenness is found in masculinity and warrants the public shaming and perpetual destruction of men.

It's critical that we have clarity about what it means to be a man. In a world determined to emasculate men, we must protect ourselves from falling prey to ideas that skew and undermine God's design.

We have all come across men who are not motivated by a sense of duty and responsibility. These kinds of men would rather live in a virtual reality than face life the way they have been called to. These men are also known as Peter Pan men, who act like boys and never assume the responsibility of a man. Many men need to grow up and throw off immaturity in order to become everything God has built us to be. We must become men of courage, integrity and gravitas.

We all need a standard to live by; one that dictates and defines how we ought to live our lives. In this episode, we sat down with Tommie Van der Walt to talk about the need for men to design a code of conduct for themselves and their families. His practical insights will assist you in establishing the ethos, focus, and competence that form a part of mastering the art of masculinity.

Feminism is a philosophy that has done a great disservice to culture and society. In this episode, we discuss how it specifically affects men in the following ways:
1. It makes men passive
2. It creates a feeling of perpetual shame
3. It weakens a sense of responsibility to protect and provide
4. It undermines the mandate to lead courageously
5. It promotes effeminate behavior
