The early church was marked by bold faith, miraculous power, and fearless obedience. When Peter and John healed a man who had been crippled for forty years, crowds were amazed—but not everyone rejoiced. Arrested and threatened, the apostles stood firm, declaring, “We must obey God rather than men.” Empowered by the Holy Spirit, these ordinary men changed the world through their confidence in Christ, their bold preaching, and their willingness to suffer for the gospel.
