Being wealthy does not have to be difficult if you have the know-­‐how. In these hard economic times many people are satisfied by just getting by and scraping enough money together to pay the bills. Wealth and financial freedom are a far-­‐off dream for many people. For them, it means mansions, gated communities, a fast car, private parties or a pool. The truly wealthy have family names like Rockefeller or Morgan.

Part of learning how to better manage your time means learning to organize your efforts so that you are working when you are likely to be the most productive. This process helps to eliminate wasted time, or when you are working but not being particularly productive.

A positive attitude and a lot of passion are absolutely necessary to running a successful business over the long term. Your passion and dream will be your motivation during this process. However, the daily ups and downs of running a business, along with the occasional misstep, will often diminish your motivation. This can have severe consequences. Without proper and long lasting motivation the odds of your business surviving for years to come will be reduced. The good news is that there are plenty of things you can do to help maintain your own motivation and to help motivate your staff.  

Being a leader is difficult and it requires many traits and skills. The most important of these is a positive attitude. Your mental attitude will determine how you experience every aspect of your life, including how you run your business. It will also have a tremendous influence on how you act as a leader and how well you are able to influence your employees. Even though maintaining a positive attitude on a daily basis can be a tricky thing to do, it is one of the most important aspects of being a good leader and it will have many positive effects on your business.  

How well you are able to manage other people will determine whether or not your business is successful. This includes finding the right place for yourself within the company’s roles and for hiring employees. Choosing employees who are capable, competent, compatible, committed and who fit into your company’s culture will ensure that the day to day aspects of your company are taken care of. Preparing yourself for the challenges of becoming a boss will help make sure that you are able to lead the company to success. But truly successful leaders don’t rely purely on their own skills and characteristics. Instead they surround themselves with experts.  

A few episodes ago, I told you about my idea to start a journey with Roku where I will launch a business dedicated to building, launching and managing TV channels and shows on StreamingTV or ConnectedTV devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV and others.  I have been working relentlessly over the past week trying to get a lot accomplished so I hit my target goal. So I've set myself up for a huge task of getting a lot done. So let me give you an update as to where I am in the process. 

Starting up a new business requires detailed planning. This means creating various options for how you are going to run your business and then choosing which of these options is the best choice for your business. Passion represents one of the most important aspects of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Without passion your business will turn out to be just another job.
