In Today's episode of the CBL Podcast, William Wolfe is joined by Nick Spencer, Director of Public Policy for The Family Foundation of Kentucky, and Daniel Strand, Professor of Ethics at the Air War College, to discuss Vice President JD Vance's recent comments on Christian principles, "ordo amoris," and the poor reactions from liberals and woke theologians.
Nick Spencer serves as the Director of Policy for The Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that stands for Kentucky families and the biblical values that make them strong by advocating for God-honoring public policy in the Commonwealth. Following completion of his B.A. and Master of Divinity degrees, he held the role of Associate Pastor at Southern Baptist churches in Missouri and Ohio. Before joining The Family Foundation, he worked for First Liberty Institute in Washington, DC. He is also a Ph.D. candidate in Christian Ethics and Public Theology at Southern Seminary where his research focuses on the role of the family in the Church’s political and cultural engagement.

Daniel Strand is Assistant Professor of Ethics at the Air War College and Ethics Chair for Air University. He is the author of the forthcoming Gods of the Nations (Cambridge University Press), a study of Augustine's political theology in City of God.
