Oregon Trip Permit

Listen Later

What does the Heavy Motor Vehicle and Trailer Oregon trip Permit do?
Assistant: The Heavy Motor Vehicle and Trailer Permit grants the use of unregistered Motor vehicles with a registration weight (ORS 801.420) over 8,000 pounds.

If you're looking to obtain a Recreational Vehicle Permit, you can use unregistered Campers, Travel trailers, or Motor homes. Just keep in mind that the length of the RV should not exceed 45 feet. Also, if you're not listed as the owner on Oregon DMV records, you'll need to provide proof of vehicle ownership. You can obtain permits for up to 10 days within a 12-month period for the same RV. However, you can also get multiple permits for less than 10 days each, as long as the total days within a 12-month period don't exceed 10. If you're ready to apply for this intrastate permit, feel free to reach out to one of our representatives.

We offer full trucking authority packages to make the launching of your trucking company business go more smoothly. The Department of Transportation regulates safety so doing it right in the begging is very important.
