In honor of National Donate Life Month, let's talk about the non-profit organization, Donate Life America, that promotes tissue, eye, and organ donation. Additionally, I will discuss what you to make this month more impactful.

In this episode, I will be interviewing four advocates of the organ donation community. They currently are raising awareness about the disparities against organ donation on their Instagram account @docsagainstdisparities (make sure to check them out!). It was so wonderful and inspiring being able to speak with these young advocates. I just know that the sky is the limit for them! I am so thankful to have peers who also appreciate the power of organ donation.

Ms. Colleen Gerber received a kidney transplant not once, but twice! She gives back to the #DonateLife community through her work at Lifebanc. She currently has her own podcast, "Let's Talk About Life", where she too interviews recipients and donors' families. She is such a kind, generous, and thoughtful human being and I am so honored that I got to speak with her today. Her work at Lifebanc is amazing and inspires me to go above and beyond.
