In this episode, we’re excited to introduce you to Jeff Ludington. Jeff is an Organic Outreach International Teaching Team member and lead pastor of Generations Church, a generationally and ethnically diverse church intentionally city-focused. He leads breakout sessions at the annual Organic Outreach Conferences, is an adjunct member of the Organic Outreach Intensive Training Team, and is a certified Organic Outreach Cohort Leader. He also helps coach, train, and send pastors and church planters throughout Southern California, and enjoys national participation in denominational and network roles. Jeff’s unique giftings include helping declining churches become vital, healthy churches that reclaim the powerful message of the gospel and reach the lost in their community. He is pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry focused on Church-Based Theological Education, and has recently published his first book, Frustrated: How the Bible Resolves Life’s Tough Questions (Lucid Books) .

We all know that there is a connection between the heart of a leader and the heartbeat of an organization. As leaders, we’re aware of our own shortcomings and grateful for any strengths we bring to the table. The longer we are part of an organization, the more we can see some of these reflected in the culture of that place. 

This is especially true when it comes to outreach.

That’s why we’re so excited to have Mark Mittelberg on the show today. Mark is a bestselling author, international speaker, and leading strategist in evangelism. He’s recently released a new training course called Making Your Case for Christ. His book, Confident Faith won Outreach Magazine’s 2014 apologetics book of the year. He’s written other powerful works and is the primary author of the celebrated Becoming a Contagious Christian training course.
