The survey, which polled 644 organizations, revealed that the percentage of respondents applying AI in multiple business processes has increased from 13% in 2021 to 28% this year. Challenges identified by the organizations include estimating and delivering value with AI-based initiatives. To address these challenges and scale AI deployments, Gartner advises organizations to develop foundational AI capabilities and prioritize data readiness. The survey also highlighted the popularity of using generative AI (GenAI) embedded in existing applications.
