Today we're talking about the breakout star of the last year and a half, Adam Ray and his character of Dr. Phil. I talk about how he was able to finally convince me that a good impression is fun to watch, and how all of his well rounded talents allow him to shoot from the hip with the character and land most of his shots. I go over the origin of the character by showing some of Adam's old standup clips and an excerpt from an LA Times article by Ali Lerman. Has any comic had a more impressive and justifiable rise than Adam Ray?
