We take a break today from our Old Testament series to talk through how Jesus closes the Sermon on the Mount. He has just given so much info on HOW we should live, and now He is letting us know that we can have a foundation that can withstand the rigors of life if we just HEAR and DO! But, how do we go about doing that?

We continue our "Vintage" series this week as we look at the classic account of when David met Goliath! The challenge with these super familiar passages is we often miss the details that lead up to the "high points." The goal today is act like we are hearing the passage for the first time!

This week, we relaunch our Community Groups after our summer break. This is always an exciting and long awaited time for us a church family. In preparation for this season of CG's, Pastor Stephen walks us through the idea of Christian Unity!

"We Want a King like everyone else!" We find Israel crying out to God through Samuel; they want an earthly king. They had forgotten that they already had a king, and He was also their God. This passage brings up the question of, "Will God give us what we ask for, but do not need?" Listen as we explore this passage and think well about God and His ways.

Sooner or later God is going to ask us to do something that makes little to no sense. What do we do? How do we respond? Today, we look at a time when God told Joshua to do one such thing. On paper it seemed rediculous! What was the result and what can we learn?

We are in week 7 of our "Vintage" series, and we take a look at Numbers 13. We find Israel/Moses sending 12 spies into the Promise Land. When they return, they give their report. Both the spies and the rest of Israel are faced with a choice; will they trust God or will they trust fear? This choice rests on all who follow Jesus. Listen today as we ask the question, "Do we trust God or fear?"

We all need people to speak true wisdom into our lives. How do we know when it is wisdom vs just advice? In Genesis 18 we observe an exchange between Moses and his father-in-law, Jethro. Join in and let's see what we can learn together!

We experienced a bit of technical difficulty this morning, and as a result we are missing the first 12 minutes of Audio. During that time we gave background to catch us up from where we left off the previous week in Genesis 22. We also set the stage for the birth of Moses by looking briefly at the conditions layed out in Exodus 1-2:10.

This week we look at God, Abraham, and Isaac. God and Abraham had a journey that consisted of God using him, but continually beckoning him to trust more... have more faith. In Genesis 22, we find the ultimate test.
